Barrie to Orillia 

Day one begins in Barrie, and a trip along the Simcoe Loop Trail. Pass through Shanty Bay, Oro Station, and Hawkestone before finishing in Orillia for a night at the Champlain Waterfront Hotel.

Distance:  50 km (31 miles)


Orillia to Port Severn

Continue along the Simcoe Loop Trail, through the village of Coldwater and to Waubashene. Then divert north on quiet roads to Port Severn to Rawley Resort on the water, where the Severn River meets Georgian Bay.

Big Chute Marine Railway Loop

Today's ride takes you back through the village of Coldwater, then up to Severn Falls, past the Big Chute Marine Railway National Historic Site, and then back out to Georgian Bay and back to Rawley Resort.

Distance:  60  km (37 miles)


Port Severn to Balm Beach via Midland

Back to the Simcoe Loop Trail for most of the day, including a long paved section from Waubashene to Midland called the Tay Shore Trail. Pass Sainte Marie among the Hurons, the Martyrs' Shrine, and Midlan Harbour before finishing in Balm Beach. Stay two nights on the beach at the Sunport Beach Club!

Balm Beach to Lafontaine Beach Loop

Today you take Tiny Beaches Road  north towards Lafontaine Beach and then loop back to the Sunport Beach Club for a second night. 

Distance:  40 km (24 miles)



Balm Beach to Barrie

Back on the Simcoe Loop Trail to finish the trip. Pass through Elmvale and Anten Mills before making your way back to Barrie to end the trip. Finish up with a celebratory group lunch!
