Guided, supported road cycling tour, 6 days along Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, including sections of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail.  Meet in Wiarton, and then shuttle to Kincardine to start the tour. The first few days focus on Lake Huron, with its spectacular beaches, historic lighthouses, and vibrant villages. Stops include Point Clark, Kincardine, Port Elgin, and Southampton. In the second half of the tour, cycle to Bruce Peninsula, where Lake Huron's northern beaches continue to delight, the riding gets a bit hillier, and Georgian Bay awaits under the white cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment.

Kincardine Loop

Day 1 starts after lunch in Wiarton. Guests are transferred to Kincardine where we do a short ride to make sure bikes are in working order and check out the town. Check into the delightful Inn at the Harbour for the first of two nights.

Point Clark

Heading south along the Lake Huron shoreline, this ride features the Kincardine and Point Clark lighthouses and a few notable beaches. The homeward loop moves inland to criss-cross the Pine River and visit the small community of Ripley.

Saugeen Shores

A (mostly) point to point along the Lake Huron shoreline to Port Elgin and Southampton. Sights along the way include Stoney Island Conservation area, Inverhuron Provincial Park, and MacGregor Point Provincial Park. Tonight the group stays at the beachside Paradise Inn.

Port Elgin to Lion's Head

Another point to point ride today. Start by heading north along Lake Huron's shoreline towards Sauble Beach, Oliphant, and Pike Bay. Guests then cut across the Bruce Peninsula to Lion's Head and Georgian Bay to check in at the Lion's Head Beach Motel

North Peninsula Loop

Starting out in Lion's Head, cycle north to explore some of the Bruce Peninsula's most rugged scenery. For those interested in seeing some of the more remote sites, some optional short hikes are offered.

Lion's Head to Wiarton

Say goodbye to Lion's Head Beach and starting heading back south towards Wiarton, via Hope Bay and the Spirit Rock Conversation Area. This is the final day of the tour and the final day to explore the Niagara Escarpment's intriguing cliffs and formations.
